Pet Sitting Visits

Pets are happiest when they are in their own home, with familiar sights, sounds, and smells. With our service, they stay safe and secure in their normal environment. No timed visits — we don’t watch the clock; we watch your pet! We know not every day or every pet is the same, from feeding to scooping, to playtime and cuddles, we make sure to accommodate your pet’s needs at the time of our visits. We can leave on a radio or TV for familiar sounds, pick up the paper, mail, rotate blinds and lights to give your home a customized “lived in” look. Visits are typically requested anytime from 7am to 8pm, when pets are most active. Happy Tails is properly bonded and insured.

Potty Break Service

This service is for busy pet owners in town who want us to check in on their pets for a potty break while at work or other functions.  Less than 15 minutes.

Rates:


Regular Visits:

$18Per Visit
  • Price includes up to 3 pets*, feeding, and home care.
Additional visits per day after 3 visits per day: $20 per visit.


Visit Recommendations:

  • 1 Visit Per Day: Most cats, rodents, birds, reptiles, aquariums, or dogs with dog door access.
2 Visits Per Day: Some cats, well potty-trained dogs, livestock, or dogs with dog door access, multi-pet homes.
  • 3 Visits Per Day: Indoor dogs and multi-pet homes.


    • Potty Break Service:

    $14Per Potty Break
    • Potty Break services can be paid for as needed, weekly, bi-weekly, or on a monthly basis.
    Price includes up to 3 pets*. Does not include feeding or home care (not available for vacation service).


    Home Care Only:

    $15Per Visit
    • Don’t own a pet or taking your pet with you? We can conduct a walk through of your home to check all doors, windows, appliances, bring in the newspaper, mail, packages, alternate lights, light plant watering, change thermostat, or perform other duties for the home upon request.


    Additional Services:

    Consultation: $14 – This charge will be applied as credit towards your first bill for services

    Key Pickup / Pre Service Visit: $14 (after initial consultation)

    Walking Service: $16 – Limited availability. All dogs must be well behaved on leash and non-reactive to other people/pets. 2 dogs maximum per walk/ 20 minutes/ weather permitting. Extended Walk: $19 – Limited availability. 30 minutes.

    $8 surcharge for each visit during the holidays listed:
    New Year’s Eve, New Years Day, Easter Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.

    Short notice fee (48 hour or less): Subject to $10 surcharge to compensate our sitters, who must adjust their schedules to accommodate last-minute reservations or bookings.

    24 hours or less notice: Subject to $20 surcharge.

    *4 or more pets subject to additional $5 surcharge per visit

    All reservation changes subject to $10 change fee. Active service extensions over holidays subject to $30 holiday extension fee per holiday.
